Naomi - BHB Store Manager & Stylist

Naomi discovered her affection for the fashion industry during her college career working as a designer stylist. She was first introduced to the wedding industry when she assisted as a makeup stylist for weddings in Indiana. Following graduation from Butler University and a couple years in the corporate world, Naomi began working as a stylist at Blue House. She quickly found herself smiling on her way to work everyday, and she knew she had found her calling.

While Naomi loves the fashion behind the wedding industry, her passion lies in working with the brides and finding their dream gown. In particular, her favorite part about working with brides is learning their story, hearing about their wedding plans, how they met their fiancé and most importantly, helping them find the gown that encompasses who they are. Naomi has a huge passion for fitness, and her journey has given her a special passion for helping brides feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful in their dream gown, and in their own skin. One of her most memorable experiences was with a bride who was hesitant to try on dresses, because she was nervous she wouldn’t like what she saw in the mirror. Naomi made it her personal mission to make this bride feel beautiful exactly as she is so she had all the confidence needed going into her big day!

Naomi’s favorite wedding dresses are unique and one of a kind. She loves a fitted gown with classic touches, but still has a feature or two that stands out and gives the dress a “moment”.   Not only does it give a timeless and elegant look, it can still be fun and showcase a bride’s personality. Naomi’s dream wedding is just as unique and one of a kind! Her ideal ceremony is an intimate elopement on the coast of Italy, with a giant reception back home with all of her friends and family. Naomi’s favorite celebrity wedding gowns were worn by famous redheads! She loves the statement Lucille Ball made with her high neck, lace detail gown. She also loved the mix of elegance and drama of Mary Jane Watson’s trumpet gown in her wedding to Peter Parker in the Spiderman comic series.

When she’s not at Blue House, Naomi is preparing for her bodybuilding wellness competitions, exploring the outdoors, listening to True Crime podcasts, or playing with her dogs.
