Lexi - BHB Stylist
Alexis entered the bridal industry a little over a year ago, but she is no stranger to helping women find their special gown. With over ten years of experience in pageantry, both as a competitor and director, she has had a long time passion for fashion, and especially dresses. Alexis, who affectionately goes by "Lexi", has always loved the romance and intimacy of weddings.
Getting to be a part of such a special day for so many brides is truly rewarding and a privilege. For Lexi, there is no better feeling than seeing a bride blossom into the radiant, confident woman she really is when she falls in love with how she looks in a dress! However, her favorite part of working as a stylist is the bond she makes with each of the wonderful brides she works with. It truly feels like she has made a new friend at the end of each appointment. One of her most memorable experiences was working with a bride who she grew very close with in her appointment. She confided in Lexi that she had recently lost her father unexpectedly, and besides having her dad by her side at her wedding, her only other concern was finding a dress she loved. It was such an honor to help this wonderful bride find "the dress," and fulfill her second dream.
Lexi's favorite wedding dress style is fit and flare. It is such a timeless and flattering style, and because they come in a wide range of fabrics, this shape can surprisingly mask any problem areas and highlight all the best features! Her favorite celebrity wedding is Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry. She looked so elegant and classic while still serving all the drama with that 16.5 foot veil! Her dream wedding would be at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Michigan. This castle feels like an elegant chateau hidden amongst Michigan nature! When Lexi is not working, you can likely find her at home doing Pinterest DIY projects, on a patio downtown enjoying appetizers with friends, or hosting her monthly book club.
