Before You Arrive:
Enjoy being engaged. Surround yourself with volumes of bridal magazines. Search the web if you like (view our designers’ websites). Try to imagine the gown you envision yourself wearing as you walk down the aisle. If you don’t find something that speaks to you, try to find something that you ABSOLUTELY will not consider.

Shopping for Your Gown:
If possible, please call ahead to make an appointment; this ensures that you get the undivided attention you deserve in an allotted amount of time. If you just walk in, please be patient. Weekends are extremely popular and therefore require appointments.

When you’re ready to try on dresses, be sure to wear proper undergarments, as BLUE HOUSE BRIDAL does not carry undergarments for your use. Additionally, if you happen to have shoes already picked out, bring those as well (it will make the measuring process a breeze).

Consider sharing this exciting moment with close friends whose opinions about THE dress you will value. It is usually better to have fewer people so you hear the real voice inside your head as to whether or not you love THE dress.

Making the Bride:
Once you find the dress you envision yourself wearing when you say “I do,” your measurements will be taken and your order will be placed. A 60% deposit is required on all bridal gown orders.

Bridesmaids’ dresses require full payment at the time of order. Bridesmaids’ dresses will be ordered when the entire bridal party has been fitted. Please be aware that additional fees may apply if orders are rushed due to delays by the bridal party.

All sales are final. Due to the special nature of our merchandise, exchanges or refunds will not be granted.

We are happy to ship dresses if needed. Balances must be paid in full before merchandise can be shipped and addition fees may apply.

The After:
Purchase to delivery typically takes 4-6 months depending on the designer and the time frame within which your order is placed. You should allow another 1 to 2 months for alterations to make the dress a perfect fit. . Alterations are an additional charge and will vary depending on the style of gown, the fabric, and detailing.
